Forex market
The forex market allows participants, such as banks and individuals, to buy, sell or exchange currencies for both hedging and speculative purposes, and is the largest financial market in the world.
Cryptocurrency market
The Cryptocurrency market is a set of all released cryptocurrencies, exchange and over-the-counter infrastructure for its purchase and sale.
Stock or equities market
It is a place where shares of public listed companies are traded.
US30
The US 30 is based on the leading US benchmark share market index containing 30 significant companies, including blue-chip stocks like Coca-Cola, Goldman Sachs, Apple, Visa and Microsoft. It is one of three major indices within the United States and one of the most popularly traded assets globally.
Scalping
Scalping is a trading strategy geared towards profiting from minor price changes in a stock's price.
Arbitrage
An arbitrage trade is considered to be a relatively low-risk exercise. It is the act of buying a security in one market and simultaneously selling it in another market at a higher price, thereby enabling investors to profit from the temporary difference in cost per share.
Risk management
The forecasting and evaluation of financial risks together with the identification of procedures to avoid or minimize their impact.
Amount risked per trade
The percentage of a trader's account that he/she is willing to be risked on any given trade. The industry standard is generally acknowledged to be around .5% ... and up to 1.5% risk per trade.
Trade win ratio
A trade win ratio is simply calculated as the winning trades, divided by the losing trades.
Return to Drawdown ratio
It is calculated as the ratio of the investment’s average compounded annual return, to its maximum drawdown over a given time period.
Drawdown
A drawdown is a decline in the value of an investment, trading account, or a fund...as calculated from its highest peak to its lowest trough.
Stop loss
A stop-loss order is a type of order used by traders to limit their loss or to continually lock in a profit on an existing position.
Gain/Return
A gain or return is the profit a business or trader enjoys above the principal amount of their investment.
Client controlled account
A client controlled account is an account where the customer's funds are kept in a broker or exchange of their choice, and only they are in control of any withdrawals. Mobile Wealth will never accept any client trading funds.
Transparent trade
A transparent trade is considered one in which the participating trader or investor can visibly see and confirm, and it is not hidden from their view.
Multi-Exchange platform
A multi-exchange trading platform, just as its name suggests, is a single unified interface that allows traders to avoid the hassle of multiple account set-ups, KYC's, fundings, and logins and interfaces, and access and trade multiple exchanges from one main client controlled account.
Performance fee
The performance fee is also referred to as an incentive fee. It is paid as a reward for profits made. Hence, the incentive fee is positively correlated with positive returns.
High water mark
A high-water mark is the highest level in value an account or fund has reached. A high-water mark is often used as a demarcation point in determining performance fees. The purpose is to protect investors from paying a fee for either poor performance, and from paying a fee repeatedly every time the fund earns a profit.
Broker
A broker is a person or a company that buys and sells things like stocks, forex, real estate, or insurance on behalf of other people.
Exchange
A place where things or services are exchanged: such as an organized market or center for trading in securities, cryptocurrencies, or commodities.
Fiat Money
Fiat money is a government-issued currency that is not backed by a physical commodity, such as gold or silver, but rather by the government that issued it.
Allocation
The action or process of allocating or distributing something, such as the amount that is decided to be put towards a certain type asset class, or investment vehicle.
Diversification
A risk management strategy that involves owning a variety of investments within and across different asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, forex, commodities, and cash.
Risk
Transaction risks are exchange rate risks associated with time differences between the beginning of a contract and when it settles.
Trade execution platform
Trade execution platforms are software tools used to manage and execute market positions. Platforms range from basic order entry screens, to complex and sophisticated risk managed toolkits with live streaming quotes, signal delivery abilities, and pre-planned execution strategies, and charts for advanced traders.
Trade signal delivery
When a trade signal is digitally delivered, whether right away or after a determined delay, the preset and specified execution action for that signal is taken.
API delivery
An application programming interface (API) gateway is software that takes an application user’s request, routes it to one or more backend services, gathers the appropriate data and delivers it to the user in a single, combined package.
